Women Empowerment and Gender Equality, for Business Development

Workshop Empowerment Femminile ARB

Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality for Business Development, is the workshop that we organized on Monday 25th March in ARB, in our Verona office, and which was open not only to client companies.

“We wanted to involve at the same table, institutions, companies and sector experts, because we are convinced that making business culture is also listening to good practices and sharing them for a positive contamination” is what our Founder and CEO Ada Rosa Balzan commented at the beginning of the meeting.

Thanks to our institutional and non-institutional speakers,  Elena Donazzan, Councilor for Education, Training, Labor and Equal Opportunities of the  Veneto Region,  Beatrice Verzè, Councilor at the Municipality of Verona with responsibility for Equal Opportunities, Adele Biondani, President of the Banco Alimentare Veneto, Ada Rosa Balzan, Founder and CEO of ARB SBPA,  Gloria Nadin, Head of Quality Assurance and RSPP at ARB SBPA, and  Daniela Ballarin Communication and Public Relations, National Commission ‘Gender Relations’ of  FERPI, who moderated the discussion, for not sparing themselves, and for opening not only their minds but also their hearts by bringing personal experiences.

Many insights emerged, interesting the parallelism between women’s empowerment and sustainability, for both the holistic, cultural approach and the adoption of measurable goals become effective elements.

Interesting to note how the companies present immediately felt involved.

Getting to the heart of the path of UNI/PdR 125:2022 for Gender Equality by making it easy to understand the technical part, passing through a historical account of the standard, gave those present the opportunity to understand how important and urgent a paradigm shift is.

The numerical growth of women in the roles of organizations becomes synonymous with corporate growth, territorial welfare and extended prosperity.

The conclusion of the meeting, which lasted well over the planned two hours, continued with stimulating moments of networking between speakers and participants, a true women’s network.
