The project, involving the Verona Stone and Marble Industrial District of Veneto and the SME founded by Ada Rosa Balzan, will be presented during Marmomac 2023, the most important world exhibition dedicated to the stone production chain, scheduled in Verona 26-29 September.
Verona Stone District, the Veneto Marble and Stone Industrial District, and ARB SBPA, an innovative SME and joint-stock benefit company, announce the launch of a strategic partnership agreement for the promotion and enhancement of sustainability issues among companies.
The project will be presented during Marmomac 2023, the most important world exhibition dedicated to the stone production chain, scheduled in Verona 26-29 September. The event will be attended by Filiberto Semenzin, President of Verona Stone District, Ada Rosa Balzan, Founder and CEO of ARB.
Thanks to this collaboration, companies joining the Verona Stone District will be able to benefit from the support of ARB SBpA for the analysis and valorisation of all aspects of sustainability, in order to meet the growing expectations of customers and investors in this field.
With over 20 years of history, Verona Stone District is the industrial district that brings together some 734 stone companies in the Veneto region with a total of 5500 employees. The district contributes to the export of processed stone with sales in excess of 564 million Euro in 2022.
ARB SBPA stands out on the Italian scene as a reference partner for the development of sustainability projects for companies. Its founder Ada Rosa Balzan is in fact considered one of Italy’s leading experts in sustainability and is a lecturer and scientific coordinator at various universities and business schools (Università Cattolica, La Sapienza, 24Ore Business School, Fondazione Cuoa, Accademia Symposium) and holds other important positions including National Sustainability Manager at Federturismo Confindustria.
